2. To tell the story of just how one amazing co-incidence dramatically affected one wildfowler's life.

This wildfowling web site tells the story of a Scottish wildfowler who spent most of his shooting career on the foreshores and estuaries of east Scotland. where his main quarry were mallard, wigeon, teal amongst the ducks and pinkfooted and greylag geese. The story explains how he made friends amongst American waterfowl hunters, especially those who are members of the South Carolina Waterfowl Association. As a result of those friendships he then hunted in the USA and Canada. In the story you will find accounts of hunting wood duck in South Carolina, shooting many duck species, including canvasback, wild fowl pochard, scaup, American wigeon, mallard and many others on the Delta Marsh in Manitoba, together with snow geese and canada geese on the farmlands around Portage. Then on the the Cumberland marsh in northern Saskatchewan to hunt ducks with the Cree Indians at Mistik Lodge where the hunting was reached by airboats wildfowling, wildfowl, waterfowling, waterfowl, hunting, shooting, hunt, shoot, duck, goose, ducks, geese, Eric Begbie, conservation, outdoors, outdoor, gun, guns, shotgun, shotguns, mallard, wigeon, teal, pintail, cartridge, cartridges, greylag, pinkfooted, pinkfoot, barnacle, brent, brant, snow, whitefronted, Canada, canadian, books, book, magazine, sport, sports, countrysports, fieldsports, UK, Britain, British, England, English, Scotland, steel shot, non-toxic shot, bismuth shot,  Scottish, USA, US, America, American, association, club, clubs, associations, society, societies, birds, bird, science, scientific, europe, lead, non-toxic, shot, nature, green, natural, reserve, education, internet, www, game, wingshooting, breeding, fishing, angling, decoys, calls, preserves, wetland, wetlands
